Abstract

The paper considers an automated approach to selection of hydraulic flow units within the lower part of the carboniferous system in one of oil fields in the Republic of Tatarstan. Based on piecewise-linear approximation of distribution function of flow zone indicator FZI, constructed using laboratory core study data, permeability - porosity correlations for each of 4 identified groups of reservoirs were obtained.
